Purpose
Format of software pages
Each page should have at least the following components:
- The line {{software}} at the top to generate the header.
- Lead briefly stating the purpose and history of the software
- Distribution section, with the download info or contact point
- File format section, important for connecting to other software
- Documentation section with links if available
- Support section if available
- Publications section with download links to fulltext whenever possible
- Contributors section if they are not listed in the lead
- The line [[Category:Software]] at the bottom to include the page automatically in the List of software.
