FARSITE is a wildfire modeling code written by Mark A. Finney at the US Forest Service.
Distribution
Windows executable, public domain, at firemodels.org. Source code was released into public domain, but it does not seem to be posted at the moment.
The name is listed as trademarked in the documentation, but USPTO search does not show such registered trademark for fire software.
